Hi John,

It works fine for me, but I tend to prefer IE so use that under Windows.

It works okay, but I like IE or Firefox better. You have to set it up to work best for you I'd say, but I still don't like it much.

I found it to be a great deal faster than I.E, but I find its interface - especially with JAWS - pretty frustrating. Settings and history are essentially web pages, but they refuse to allow you to choose your own contrast, and JAWS doesn't work with them quite as well. I also noticed JAWS reads elements such as lines and paragraphs differently for me, and not for the better.

A lot of people find Chrome weird. It is said to be minimalist and has menus. I haven't even put it on The Chick's computer because it's just hard for a lot of people sighted and otherwise who are not real geeks. And She just wants to do what most people do on a computer: watch videos, do banking, write, look at the news, stuff like that.no

yeah, used it a few times forced me to use it I think with media content. I didn't really play around with it but I wasn't impressed. I am giving it another go though on voice over so we'll see how that one works.

It used to be faster than the rest but now Firefox and IE are catching up.
And, in my last post, I meant it has *no* menus. Don't know what happened there lol

lisa apple vis I believe says it's accessible fully

I find great accessibility when using the extension called chromevox; try it! You'll use your general-purpose screen reader for access to menus and dialogues, but the extension's navigation and reading features for page content. Chromevox is cross-platform.

what will chromevox let me do again that i wouldn't be able to do without it?

chrom vox will allow you to read by headings, links and etc, its the same extention that allows android devices to read out web content in 4.0 and above on android.
